Continuing Education - Part II

If we agree with the concept "the whole life is learning", and we really "fall in love with learning" no matter how old we are, may be the secret for a good life is: To learn mostly about what we love to do. And all along life we may love doing a lot of different things. Have you noticed that when you do something you love to do, time passes quickly? "To love what we do" not only means to meet our "vocation", it means much more than this. It means we can find different vocations inside us. We can meet our "best self" exploring inside us trying to find out which these vocations are. Learning about different subjects may be a trigger for us. This trigger can help us to discover unknown capabilities in ourselves, opening our minds to new experiences and new abilities. People that are deeply passionate, and have a great love for the work they do can make a difference in their lives and in the world too. Life may be a wonderful journey when we are happy with what we do. Better if we are aware we can do a lot of different things and feel happy doing them. To achieve a healthy and good life, and even to feel young, active, always interested in something new, probably the single most important thing you can do for yourself before following a career, or even when you are involved following one, is to achieve the deepest conviction that you are an individual full of different capabilities, able to "learn" a lot of different things. No matter what your age is. This conviction will give you a renewed sense of "freedom" Today we have different opportunities if what we want to do is to enjoy learning about whatever we may choose. &#&Continuing education&#& is an all-encompassing term within a broad spectrum of post-secondary learning activities and programs. Generally &#&continuing education&#& is similar to &#&adult education&#&, at least in being intended for adult learners, especially those beyond traditional undergraduate &#&college or university&#& age. The term is used mainly in the United States and Canada, it is assumed that the student already has an education and they are simply continuing it, to improve their lives. What is &#&Continuing Education&#&, then? I think it may be the key to enjoy our lives. |
